TATA communications added to network

In the past few months, HostSlim got more and more new customers from Asia, the Middle East and also Africa. To provide this group of customers an even better connection from and to Europe, a new full transit port of the Tata Communications network is added to the datacenters network.
Like all other transit partner uplinks HostSlim already has, this uplink has also a speed of 10Gbps. It provide trustful data transport from and to the datacenter and give users the capacity to burst.
With Tata communications added to the existing range of full transit providers and peering exchanges, the diversity, the route quality, the availability and redundancy of the network outside Europe improved again. Especially into markets such as the Middle East that have traditionally been difficult to reach. Tata Communications is a truly global leader, with a firm foothold across six continents and in 30 of the top emerging markets. It is their foresight and forward-thinking investments in infrastructure, combined with in-region partners and local knowledge what makes Tata a powerful addition to the network.
Due to the high increase in traffic over the past year, it’s expected that the number of new transit and peering suppliers will be increased again. Again we will choose new partners in consultation with our clients: together we make the Serverius network better!
