HostSlim added a new Cisco router to the network!

We are glad to announce that last week we successfully added our own Cisco router in our network. This way we can have all the control over our network without having one of our datacenters involved. This way we can boost our support reply times for network support questions a lot.
With our own Cisco router all our clients now have at least 1Gbps dedicated uplinks for their servers (without it being shared). So you are able to burst (if agreed on that with your server plan) the full 1000Mbps. We added several extra 10Gbps paths in our network as well to expand our network capacity.
We now also have our own ASN which can be found here:
http://bgp.he.net/AS200429This is another step in expanding our network to the next level. We also expanded our DDoS protection and will add new plans to the website shortly.
