If you are being prevented from logging in as root, either over SSH or from WHM, please disable CPHulk and reconfigure it to your liking once you log in. Disabling CPHulk should fix the "This login is invalid" error message. You can whitelist your IP(s) to prevent being locked out when CPHulk detects a brute force attack.
