Complaint Procedure

Complaint Procedure: Removed or Disabled Content (TCO Regulation)

This procedure applies if HostSlim OÜ has removed your content, or disabled access to it, as terrorist content under Regulation (EU) 2021/784.

Removal based on our own measures

If we removed or disabled your content based on our own measures, you can file a complaint with us free of charge. Send it to tco@hostslim.net with the subject line “TCO complaint” and include:

  1. your name and customer number
  2. the service, server, IP address or URL concerned
  3. the date the content was removed or access was disabled
  4. why you believe the removal was unjustified
  5. any supporting documents

How we handle your complaint

  • We confirm that we received your complaint.
  • We examine every complaint promptly.
  • If the removal was unjustified, we reinstate the content or restore access without undue delay.
  • We inform you of the outcome within two weeks of receiving your complaint.
  • If we decide not to reinstate the content, we tell you why.

Filing a complaint does not affect your right to start administrative or judicial proceedings.

Removal following a removal order from an authority

If content was removed because of a removal order issued by a competent authority, you can challenge that order before the courts of the Member State whose authority issued it. On request, we provide the reasons for the removal and the information available to us about the order. We may withhold this when the authority has decided that the information must not be disclosed for reasons of public security.
